HOW TO MAKE PAYMENT FOR MY PURCHASES?

U can make payment via the following:

For EPS, U need to do EPS by tonight before 9pm
For paynow, U can paynow by tmr 10:30am after US market close

WHAT ARE THE REASON THAT MY HONG KONG ORDERS WERE REJECTED?

It refer to max price spread bid/offer.. if U want to q for HK and common order rejection messages

Your orders may be rejected due to the following reasons:
2043 Invalid order price – Queuing price beyond 24 bid/ask spread OR matching price of more than 10 current market bid/ask

Insufficient Qty – Insufficient shareholdings
7073 Invalid price tick – Please refer to price spread table
2036 Security halted/suspended – Stock suspended

WHAT ARE THE FEES INVOLVED IF MY SHARES ARE DEPOSITED WITH PHILLIP?

There are basically 3 types of fees, U need to take note:
Custody Fee
Quarterly Fee
Dividend Handling Fee

But can be waive off...

A lot of queries on how to waive off the Custodian Fee, Quarterly Fee, as well as Cash Dividend Handling Fee... if they buy into custodian account, especially foreign shares.
Please see the below:

Waiver condition is at least 1 trade per quarter for the Account. Otherwise, S$16.05 per quarter is chargeable based on March, June, September and December month-end Account balance.
Waiver condition is 2 trades per month or 6 trades per quarter or minimum S$132 brokerage per quarter. Otherwise. S$2.14 per counter per month (subject to max S$1 60.50 per quarter) is chargeable.
Cash dividend handling fee is 1% on net dividend subject to minimum S$1.07 capped at S$53.50 + foreign fees and taxes (if applicable).

HOW TO SET UP FOR US TRADING?

For US market... u need to do 4 simple steps after you login to POEMS...

1. Fill up the W8Ben Form

Login to POEMS>acct mgmt>online form>U.S. Tax Form>W8Ben form> Fill it up and submit

2. Pass your CAR test

Login to POEMS>acct mgmt>CAR/CKA>U must pass your CAR then U can trade foreign share...

If U have purchased foreign share before, scroll all the down, and tick proceed... then fill up the survey form. Make sure at part 3, U must fill up the last purchase date of your buying in foreign market... else the system will indicate that U failed the test, and U need to take SGX online quiz for education tour

3. Acknowledge your RWS

Login to POEMS>acct mgmt>RWS> Click and acknowledge

4. Acknowledge your (RDS) – Extended Hours (For trading US Markets from 4pm (SGT))

Login to POEMS>acct mgmt>(RDS) – Extended Hours> Click and acknowledge

5. Subscribe US live price
U go to Market data and Rewards tab... on the same menu bar of Trade (LP2)... and click
Click on New Rewards Subscriptions
Look for U.S - AMEX, NASDAQ, NYSE Live Price (Non-Professional)
(As long as you are not working in finance industry)

Fill up the pop-up declaration and make sure answer the all 5 questions that data is meant for personal usage

Optional:

U can activate the RDS extended hour by acknowledge it
