Stock Market “Feng Shui” Prediction 2023
"Prepared for the unexpected than to be caught unprepared"
Before I start my 2023 market forecast, I believe that the stock market can continue to stay higher for the month of Dec 22 and Jan 23. But in 2023, I want to divide the year into first half and second half for discussion.
For first half of 2023 (before entering the month of August), I believe it's going to be tough as it's difficult to escape from recession. People may filled with pessimism as conflicts between countries continues, causing strategic paradigm shift over global employment demand of IT tech talents. Therefore, the chance of the stock market may fall again after Chinese New Year. is high. Especially in the month of May, June and July, news on war may make a comeback. Inflation and interest rate hike will continue to pressure to the property markets.
On the flip of the coin, investors can consider to bottom fishing the over-sold blue chip counters during the second quarter 2023. As the stock market should be rebound after July and it will be much better all the way till end of the year. In 2024, it will be a new epoch that we need to change our perspective and adopt the new way of looking at things...
Last but not least, extend from year 2022 where the industry of Fire and Wood elements will still the better performed sectors, e.g. Oil and Gas Industry and Agriculture, relatively. They are still my tick for the first half of 2023.
I still remember that I was writing the market prediction for year 2022, I wrote that I was surprised myself that agricultural products and natural resources like coals and natural gas will back for strong demand... and in 2023, my forecast continued to stick with my last year ranking using 5 elements below rom the most booming sector to the worse performance sectors as followed:
1. Fire and Wood related industries (best)
2. Earth related industries
3. Water related industries
4. Gold related industries. (worst)
In year 2023, the pandemic of COVID should gradually seem ending as entering into 2nd half of the year. However, the sickness related to blood or some other form of transmittable disease may continue to linger... overall, though the situation is improving, but need to continue to stay safe... Next, the tension from the trade battles between nations will grow and you may see superpower like US and China, busy establishing partnerships with other nations that rich in national resources, so that the demands of their own nations can be met because the weather for next year is not favourable for plantation (very hot) and it may affect the amount of crops for harvesting. In addition, the war, argument, revengeful attacks will probably continue and in fact may heighten in the month of May till July... Last but not least, property market will continue to undergo changes and investors should understand this paradigm shift is not temporary and should think twice before committing to any long term loan.
We must understand that Period 9 (year 2024 - year 2043) is not the same as before, many things will change for good and not the same as before. Things happened likely in a "come and go" manner and before you are ready, it may have gone...
Personal “Feng Shui” Prediction 2023
In year 2023, it will be the year of Water Rabbit. This year will be the last year before officially entering into Period 9, and therefore the first half of the year will remain tough and environment will be continue challenging for many of us. The revival will really come only after August. Hence, be vigilant and you can really start to bargain hunt in the market after June/July as market may tumble again in the middle of the year. Nevertheless, be hopeful as the worst will be soon over and get ready to celebrate in year end for the coming of 2024.
South West direction: all the working females especially those who are a mother, I need to congratulate you for a prosperous year with better relationships around. However if you are not in that category, you can consider to put some plants that grow in water in the South West direction to boost for better Feng Shui in the household.
East direction: If you have son who are still young or studying or unmarried, please watch out for their health this year as he may be more prompt to minor discomfort from digestive system includes liver and gall, skin problem, insomnia or even leg problem. However if you are not in that category, you can consider to put a golden bell or musical box or a bronze plate or [20% sea salt dissolved with 80% water] in the East direction to boost for better Feng Shui in the household.
South East direction: If you have daughter who are still young or studying or unmarried, they may tend to be more argumentative in 2023 and easy to pick up a quarrel with people. Hence, you can encourage them to exercise more for relaxation. However if you are not in that category, you can consider to put a red Ang Pao Packet or Red/Pink object in the South East direction to boost for better Feng Shui in the household. Especially people who have any legal matters that may drag on into year 2023, can put some red ornaments as decoration in the S-E direction.
At the centre of the house: It will be good to put 4 pieces of straight Chinese Fortune Bamboo to boost the chance of promotions, children's school result or their luck in examination. Else you can also consider a miniature pagoda to intensify the Feng Shui effect.
North West direction: All the working adults (both females and males) especially those who are a father, please take good care of your health. Go for medical check up if necessary. Eat well and sleep well. In general, to boost better Feng Shui in the household, please refer to pointer 2 for feng shui placement.
West direction: If you have more than 1 daughter who are still young or studying or unmarried, next year is really quite of good year to the younger one. However, you are not in that category, you can consider to put a glass of water or 8 pcs of white color stones to boost for better Feng Shui in the household.
North East direction: If you have more than 1 son who are still young or studying or unmarried, next year is more gossiping for the younger one and can turn out to be quarrelsome. And remind him to be careful with his personal belonging. However, you are not in that category, you can consider to put a glass of water or blue /grey carpet to boost for better Feng Shui in the household.
South direction: If you have more than 2 daughters who are still young or studying or unmarried, their luck with money next year is good. However, you are not in that category, you can consider to boost your wealth by placing some plants with big-round leaves that grow in the water in the South direction to boost for better Feng Shui in the household.
North direction: If you have more than 2 sons who are still young or studying or unmarried, next year is definitely a pleasant year for celebration or happy about. However, you are not in that category, but you can consider to get married (can place a vase and put 9 'Stargazer' Oriental Lily inside) or hope to have babies (then you can put a pair of any fruits instead, as long as it bear seeds inside) to boost for better Feng Shui in the household.
